Dear Members and Friends
Our winter meetings consisted of our AGM in December where we had an excellent turnout of members who all seemed delighted with the full season of events that we organised in our area.
The directors conveyed their thanks to all the land owners, competitors, judges, helpers and sponsors for making it another year to remember.
The presentation of Trophies followed with the points Championships as follows:
Junior Points Champion Poppy Gardette
Novice Points Champion Caroline Gardette
Open Points Champion Carol Black
Carl Bevan, Carol Black, and Pat Gillan winning the individual section trophies
Daphne Taylor ,Carl Bevan Caroline Gardette and John Stafford won the special awards
The day finshed with a lovely xmas meal.
In February we held our annual domino day and once again a large turnout was in attendance for an afternoon of fun and banter throughout the 20 rounds of dominoes
Our winner of the day was Janette Watson winning the Low Briery Sam trophy.
